​Lucinda Tassone, publishing under the nametag 'hazel4lif3' is an emerging artist from Perth/Boorloo. Whilst currently completing her undergraduate studies in fine arts and psychology at the University of Western Australia, her portfolio is sharp, receiving the Minderoo Spirit Prize in The Lester Prize (2024). Her work includes film, animation and oil painting, shown in the UWA summer exhibition (2024/5) and in 'interstitions' at Underscore Gallery (2025). She has also worked with the University of Western Australia to create promotional works for the 'Arts and Careers' online learning module (2025).

​On Reels:

I am chronically online, so my visual alphabet comprises of instagram reels and screenshots. I try to string together found images to form unusual and meaningful sentences. My most recent body of work, 'Reels', is a narration of my explore page. I am a painter, and I choose oils to speak in a language of visual imagery.
